Outreach-Matt Talbot Kitchen 2017
We began serving at Matt Talbot Kitchen (MTK) in 1993 and continue the outreach because of the dedication of many volunteers serving the needy and hungry people in Lincoln (usually 150-175 meals served each 3rd Monday). We certainly thank all the volunteers and also persons providing monetary donations for this outreach. The needs increase each year. If we bought the groceries for each meal that we serve, it would cost approximately $250.00 per month. We have more purchases lately since the Food Bank of Lincoln has fewer items available that we can use for our meal.
